We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Tysons, Virginia. This role requires strong organizational skills and accuracy in processing invoices and reconciling accounts. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and demonstrate proficiency in managing financial transactions effectively.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process and review approximately 200 invoices per week with precision and adherence to company standards.<br>• Perform matching, batching, and coding of invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.<br>• Reconcile credit card transactions and vendor accounts to maintain financial accuracy.<br>• Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.<br>• Enter vendor invoices and payments into the system while maintaining organized records.<br>• Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze data and support reporting needs.<br>• Manage check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors.<br>• Investigate and resolve issues related to missing or outstanding invoices.<br>• Maintain strong communication with vendors to address inquiries and discrepancies.<br>• Support monthly financial reporting and invoice processing tasks.
