The Staff Accountant is responsible for preparing monthly and year-end closings, journal entries, fixed asset maintenance, bank reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation. During the monthly close, many aspects of internal reporting will be your responsibility. You will promote the development and implementation of accounting policies. In addition, you will participate in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules for the reporting processes. This position is very involved as it will produce Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. <p>We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join a non-profit organization in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This position partners closely with the Finance Director to support accurate financial records, reliable reporting, and timely month-end close activities.
