  • <p>Historic Preservation &amp; Planning Coordinator</p><p><br></p><p>Contract-to-Hire | $28-$32/hr</p><p>Pikes Peak Region</p><p><br></p><p>About the Role</p><p><br></p><p>An established public-sector organization in the Pikes Peak Region is seeking a Historic Preservation &amp; Planning Coordinator to support planning, zoning, community development, and historic preservation initiatives. This position serves as a key resource for residents, property owners, contractors, and community stakeholders while coordinating a variety of projects and public processes.</p><p><br></p><p>This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who enjoys project coordination, public engagement, community planning, and preservation efforts in a collaborative environment.</p><p><br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p><br></p><p>• Coordinate planning, zoning, and historic preservation applications from submission through approval</p><p><br></p><p>• Review project materials and ensure timely processing of applications, permits, and related documentation</p><p><br></p><p>• Administer grant and project programs, including applicant communication, project tracking, and compliance monitoring</p><p><br></p><p>• Prepare agendas, reports, meeting packets, minutes, and correspondence for advisory boards and public meetings</p><p><br></p><p>• Attend board and commission meetings and provide administrative and project support</p><p><br></p><p>• Conduct site visits and field observations related to development, planning, and preservation projects</p><p><br></p><p>• Provide guidance to residents, property owners, and contractors regarding regulations, processes, and requirements</p><p><br></p><p>• Maintain project records, budgets, invoices, contracts, and departmental files</p><p><br></p><p>• Assist with budget tracking, reporting, and long-range planning efforts</p><p><br></p><p>• Coordinate with community groups, stakeholders, and partner organizations</p><p><br></p><p>• Support special projects and other departmental initiatives as assigned</p><p><br></p>
