We are looking for a Purchase & Sales Specialist to join a growing team in North Canton, Ohio in a contract-to-permanent role. This role supports daily purchasing operations while helping maintain strong supplier relationships and steady material availability for the business. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing quote analysis, order management, and coordination with internal teams. Responsibilities: • Partner with the Purchasing Director to identify and obtain materials, supplies, and equipment needed to support business operations. • Gather and review supplier quotations, assess pricing and service options, and help determine the most suitable vendor selections. • Prepare and submit purchase orders accurately while following established company guidelines and approval processes. • Monitor open orders, confirm shipment schedules, and follow up on delayed items or backordered products to reduce disruptions. • Keep vendor files, purchasing records, and supporting documentation current, organized, and easy to reference. • Coordinate with inventory and production personnel to help maintain appropriate stock levels and support operational continuity. • Contribute to cost reduction efforts by tracking supplier performance and identifying opportunities for better purchasing value.
