The Legal Assistant will play an important part in keeping legal matters organized by coordinating schedules, preparing documents, maintaining records, and assisting with billing and case support.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Provide confidential administrative and secretarial support to attorneys and other legal professionals while managing a high volume of daily requests.<br>• Coordinate calendars, meetings, conference rooms, and related hospitality or technology arrangements for internal and external attendees.<br>• Prepare, format, proofread, revise, and organize legal documents, correspondence, and other materials, including document comparisons and dictated content when needed.<br>• Maintain accurate electronic and physical client matter files, oversee document indexing, and work with records teams to retrieve and update file information.<br>• Process conflict checks, assist with opening new clients and matters, and support ongoing matter administration in line with firm procedures.<br>• Enter attorney time, assist with billing review and invoice preparation, and submit expense reimbursements and payment requests accurately and on schedule.<br>• Arrange business travel and prepare detailed itineraries for supported attorneys and legal staff.<br>• Support litigation activities by assisting with court and electronic filings, legal research, and the review of relevant statutes, cases, and other legal sources.<br>• Collaborate with attorneys, administrative colleagues, and shared services teams to meet deadlines, respond to changing priorities, and deliver strong client service.
