- <p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>Our client is seeking an experienced <strong>Technical Project Manager</strong> to support strategic banking technology initiatives. This individual will lead complex technology projects, partner closely with technical and business stakeholders, and drive delivery across critical banking platforms and programs.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have a strong project management background within the banking or financial services industry, a solid understanding of Agile and SDLC methodologies, and enough technical depth to effectively collaborate with architects, developers, product teams, and external vendors.</p><p>This is a highly visible role requiring a proactive leader who can drive execution, remove obstacles, and keep initiatives moving forward in a fast-paced environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead end-to-end delivery of technology-focused projects within a banking environment.</li><li>Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, budgets, and stakeholder communications.</li><li>Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure projects follow established SDLC and governance processes.</li><li>Partner with business leaders, product owners, developers, architects, and vendors to define requirements and deliver solutions.</li><li>Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and ensure alignment across technology and business teams.</li><li>Identify risks, roadblocks, and dependencies while proactively developing mitigation strategies.</li><li>Translate technical concepts and project impacts for both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Monitor project progress and provide regular status reporting to leadership and key stakeholders.</li><li>Support vendor management activities and coordinate integration efforts when applicable.</li><li>Drive accountability and execution across project teams to ensure successful delivery.</li></ul><p><strong>*Please note: </strong>This position requires 2 days onsite/week in the Smyrna/Vinings area of Atlanta.
