The role involves managing overnight shifts and ensuring seamless communication and coordination among team members.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>Coordinate nightly freight movement, ensuring loads are efficiently planned and routed.</p><p>Manage high call volumes with terminals and internal dispatch teams to coordinate shipments.</p><p>Plan and assign loads to appropriate drivers, routes, and equipment to ensure timely delivery.</p><p>Communicate with terminals across multiple hubs to organize freight movement and resolve routing challenges.</p><p>Collaborate with other dispatchers to coordinate shipments moving across different territories or regions.</p><p>Monitor freight flow and adjust plans in real time based on shipment volume, operational needs, or delays.</p><p>Utilize internal systems and Microsoft Excel to track loads, routes, and operational updates.</p><p>Identify and resolve logistical issues quickly to keep freight moving efficiently.</p>
