Responsibilities: • Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring accuracy in general ledger transactions. • Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain financial integrity. • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing required schedules. • Analyze financial data to identify inconsistencies and deliver actionable insights. • Assist in developing budgets and forecasts to support organizational planning. • Facilitate audit preparations by compiling relevant documentation and responding to auditor inquiries. • Ensure compliance with industry accounting standards and organizational policies. • Oversee payroll accounting entries and reconciliations to ensure proper recording of transactions. • Collaborate with the Grants Department to develop and revise contract and grant budgets. • Provide technical accounting guidance and contribute to special projects as needed.
