We are looking for a motivated Application Developer to join our team in West Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining software applications, ensuring they meet business needs and align with company standards. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about coding and eager to refine their technical skills. This is a long-term contract opportunity that offers the chance to contribute to meaningful projects while growing professionally.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design and develop new software applications based on provided specifications, including coding, testing, and creating comprehensive documentation.<br>• Perform updates and maintenance on existing applications, ensuring functionality and reliability.<br>• Collaborate with team members to conduct program design walkthroughs and review coding and testing processes.<br>• Stay current with evolving technologies, programming languages, and development techniques to enhance project outcomes.<br>• Adhere to company standards for documentation, testing, and development practices while ensuring quality.<br>• Provide regular updates on project progress to relevant stakeholders.<br>• Support the IT team and other departments with technical expertise as required.<br>• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities to help achieve organizational objectives.<br>• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment by actively contributing to company goals and initiatives.

• Proficiency in at least two programming languages, with expertise in Java or .NET.<br>• Hands-on experience with code versioning tools and familiarity with their functionality.<br>• Strong analytical abilities and the capability to solve complex problems proactively.<br>• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.<br>• Demonstrated reliability, accountability, and dedication to achieving results.<br>• Self-motivated and organized with the ability to work independently.<br>• Quick learner with excellent problem-solving skills.<br>• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and align with organizational objectives.
