Senior Brand Copywriter
<p>Robert Half is partnering with a leading global technology and entertainment company to hire a Senior Copywriter for their brand partnerships team. In this role, you’ll craft dynamic, story-driven campaigns that bring brands to life across video, digital, and experiential platforms—from concept and pitch through final production.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Location</strong>: Santa Monica, CA (onsite, 5 days/week)</p><p><strong>Duration</strong>: 6-month contract</p><p><strong>Hours</strong>: 40 hours/week</p><p><strong>Pay Rate</strong>: $55–60/hour</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p><p>As a Senior Copywriter, you will lead the creative development of branded video content and integrated campaigns that connect audiences to culture through entertainment. You’ll partner closely with creative directors, art directors, and producers to write scripts that inspire, inform, and engage—transforming ideas into cinematic narratives that resonate across screens and platforms. The ideal candidate is a versatile storyteller with strong video scriptwriting experience, impeccable command of tone and structure, and a proven ability to adapt messaging for multiple audiences and formats.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About the Team:</strong></p><p>This award-winning team develops one-of-a-kind brand campaigns and activations for global advertisers. Leveraging storytelling, video production, and emerging technology, they deliver innovative campaigns that reach millions across entertainment, digital, and real-world experiences.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop video scripts for a range of formats, including broadcast spots, branded content, social video, trailers, and long-form storytelling.</li><li>Collaborate with Art Directors, Creative Directors, and Producers to conceptualize and execute creative ideas that meet advertiser goals.</li><li>Write engaging copy across digital touchpoints—web, interactive media, and streaming experiences—that extend and amplify campaign narratives.</li><li>Craft clear, persuasive messaging for pitch decks, campaign toolkits, and client deliverables.</li><li>Present creative concepts and script ideas to internal stakeholders and external partners, incorporating feedback while maintaining narrative integrity.</li><li>Ensure writing excellence, continuity, and brand alignment across all creative assets under tight deadlines.</li><li>Write within IP, voice, and production guidelines while maintaining creative originality and storytelling flair.</li><li>Support creative operations and contribute to process documentation for campaign development and copy standards.</li></ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>7+ years of professional copywriting experience in advertising, media, or branded content.</li><li>Proven expertise in video scriptwriting, including narrative, commercial, and social formats.</li><li>Strong conceptual and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate ideas into compelling stories.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication with mastery of pacing, tone, and voice for screen.</li><li>Experience collaborating with cross-functional creative and production teams.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.</li><li>Collaborative, detail-oriented, and highly self-motivated.</li></ul>
