Part Time Admin to CEO
<p>We are looking for a dependable HR Generalist based in Santa Barbara, California. This role is well suited for someone who is organized, discreet, and comfortable handling a mix of administrative coordination and employee support tasks. The ideal candidate brings practical experience in HR administration, onboarding activities, and day-to-day people operations while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Coordinate scheduling, correspondence, and administrative support while helping keep priorities organized and on track.</p><p>• Assist with HR administrative processes, including maintaining employee records and ensuring information is entered accurately in HRIS platforms.</p><p>• Support onboarding activities by preparing documentation, coordinating pre-employment steps, and helping new hires transition smoothly into the organization.</p><p>• Facilitate employment screening processes for all candidates and follow up on required employment documentation in a timely manner.</p><p>• Provide day-to-day assistance with employee relations matters by responding to routine questions and directing issues appropriately.</p><p>• Help organize HR files, track personnel updates, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information.</p>
• At least 1 year of experience in administrative support, HR coordination, or a related office environment.<br>• Working knowledge of HR administration practices and employee record management.<br>• Experience using HRIS systems to update, track, and maintain personnel information.<br>• Familiarity with onboarding workflows, including document collection and coordination for new employees.<br>• Understanding of employee relations support and the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.<br>• Experience coordinating or processing background checks is preferred.<br>• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
