In this role, you will play a critical part in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting audit readiness. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, contributing to impactful financial processes for a mission-driven organization.</p><p><br></p><p><u>Responsibilities:</u></p><p>• Review monthly financial statements to confirm their accuracy and completeness.</p><p>• Oversee the final reconciliation close sheet and ensure adherence to the close checklist.</p><p>• Analyze and approve journal entries alongside supporting documentation.</p><p>• Conduct thorough reviews of bank reconciliations, grant reconciliations, and balance sheet accounts.</p><p>• Identify and resolve discrepancies and issues prior to month-end close.</p><p>• Ensure audit readiness by maintaining organized and accurate financial documentation.</p><p>• Collaborate with the Senior Accountant to facilitate smooth financial closes.</p><p>• Monitor grant billing processes to ensure alignment with the general ledger.</p><p>• Partner with the Director of Finance to manage grant-related financial activities effectively.</p>
