<p>We are looking for a Controller to support document-focused financial and administrative operations for a non-profit organization in San Francisco, California. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate records, organizing critical materials, and ensuring documentation is processed efficiently and consistently. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, a structured approach to information management, and the ability to keep sensitive files orderly and accessible. <strong>For immediate consideration, please contact Leon Chang directly via Linked-In.</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee the organization, tracking, and maintenance of financial and operational records to ensure documents are complete and easy to retrieve.</p><p>• Manage high-volume scanning activities, converting paper files into clear and properly indexed digital records.</p><p>• Review incoming materials for accuracy and completeness before filing, distribution, or archival storage.</p><p>• Compile supporting documentation for reports, audits, and internal reviews by gathering materials from multiple sources.</p><p>• Maintain document control procedures that promote consistency, version accuracy, and secure handling of sensitive information.</p><p>• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure records are updated promptly and stored in accordance with organizational standards.</p><p>• Monitor file organization across physical and electronic systems to improve accessibility and reduce duplication.</p><p>• Identify and resolve documentation gaps or filing issues to support smooth day-to-day operations.</p>
• Experience managing document control processes in an administrative, finance, or non-profit environment.<br>• Proficiency in scanning, indexing, and organizing large volumes of records with strong attention to detail.<br>• Ability to compile documents accurately for reporting, compliance, or audit-related needs.<br>• Familiarity with recordkeeping practices, file retention standards, and secure document handling.<br>• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.<br>• Clear written and verbal communication skills for working across departments.<br>• Comfort using office technology and digital file management systems to maintain accurate records.
