We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to assist our client in San Francisco. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in managing financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting. This position requires someone with strong attention to detail and expertise in accounting processes and systems. Responsibilities:• Oversee month-end and quarter-end financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.• Prepare and review accruals, payroll journal entries, and other operational accounting tasks.• Manage general ledger activities and ensure proper account reconciliations.• Collaborate with auditors during financial statement audits to provide necessary documentation and support.• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.• Utilize NetSuite to streamline and optimize accounting processes.• Assist in identifying and addressing operational challenges by asking insightful questions.• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation to support business decisions.

• Proven experience in managing month-end and quarter-end close processes. • Proficiency in general ledger management and journal entries. • Strong understanding of financial statement audits and account reconciliation. • Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work effectively in any time zone. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance. • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
