Medical Administrator
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Medical Administrator to join our team in Saco, Maine. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative processes within a healthcare setting. This is a long-term contract position that requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Follow up with provider offices to track the status of orders requiring signatures.</p><p>• Handle sensitive and confidential protected health information with the utmost care and discretion.</p><p>• Respond to phone inquiries professionally and provide accurate information to patients and providers.</p><p>• Verify medical insurance details to ensure smooth processing of patient orders.</p><p>• Manage electronic medical records and update information as needed.</p><p>• Fax documents promptly and accurately to relevant parties.</p><p>• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers.</p><p>• Identify and resolve problems creatively to ensure administrative processes run efficiently.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to meet organizational goals and deadlines.</p>
• Previous experience in healthcare administration is preferred but not mandatory.<br>• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.<br>• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is highly desirable.<br>• Proficiency in managing phone inquiries and providing excellent customer service.<br>• Knowledge of medical insurance verification processes is a plus.<br>• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive information.<br>• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.<br>• Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
