This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to manage and enhance procurement operations, ensuring efficient processes and strong supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in sourcing, negotiating, and coordinating the acquisition of parts and materials while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Responsibilities: • Source and procure machined parts, weldments, and 3D printed components, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. • Collaborate with procurement team members to assign tasks and optimize workflows. • Coordinate shipping logistics for procured items to the company's headquarters. • Manage purchase order requests, supplier documentation, quotes, schedules, and other procurement-related records. • Oversee the inspection and acceptance or rejection of delivered parts, maintaining quality standards. • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with both current and potential suppliers. • Address and resolve part discrepancies by coordinating replacements or returns with suppliers. • Update and maintain procurement and operational documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility. • Research and negotiate terms, pricing, and lead times with new suppliers to align with company goals and forecasts. • Monitor contracted suppliers, identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve quality, and enhance collaboration.

• 2-4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with training available for the right candidate. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing procurement data and reports. • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively. • Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize responsibilities. • Negotiation expertise and relationship-building capabilities with suppliers. • Analytical and strategic thinking skills for evaluating supplier performance and opportunities. • Background in mechanical, electrical, or industrial fields is a plus.
