We are looking for a skilled Network/Systems Engineer to join our team in Reading, Pennsylvania. In this long-term contract role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient network and system solutions to support business operations. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the stability and security of IT infrastructure.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design, implement, and manage network solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.<br>• Monitor and maintain network devices, including FortiGate, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Cisco systems.<br>• Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues to minimize downtime and disruptions.<br>• Perform regular security assessments and updates to safeguard IT infrastructure.<br>• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute system upgrades and improvements.<br>• Document network configurations and system processes for reference and compliance.<br>• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders.<br>• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.<br>• Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in all network and system operations.

• Proven experience working with FortiGate firewalls.<br>• Expertise in Palo Alto Firewall configuration and maintenance.<br>• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking solutions.<br>• Familiarity with network security protocols and practices.<br>• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.<br>• Effective communication skills for collaboration and support.<br>• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.<br>• Relevant certifications in networking or systems engineering are a plus.
