Controller
We are looking for a dedicated Controller to lead and manage critical financial operations in a manufacturing environment. This hands-on role involves overseeing accounting functions, ensuring accurate reporting, maintaining internal controls, and supporting strategic financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and collaborate closely with plant leadership and executive teams to drive organizational success.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and month-end close processes.<br>• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and management reports in compliance with US GAAP standards.<br>• Manage multi-entity accounting functions, including intercompany transactions and eliminations.<br>• Strengthen internal controls and implement standardized accounting policies across multiple facilities.<br>• Monitor daily cash flow, conduct liquidity forecasting, and support vendor payment prioritization to align with financial objectives.<br>• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to accurately measure production costs and operational efficiency.<br>• Collaborate with plant leadership to analyze labor efficiency, material usage, and margin performance.<br>• Support budgeting processes, rolling forecasts, and provide scenario modeling for strategic planning.<br>• Drive process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy and reduce close timelines.<br>• Lead and mentor a small accounting team, fostering collaboration and growth focused on attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.<br>• Strong knowledge and application of US GAAP principles.<br>• At least 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with 3 or more years in manufacturing or industrial sectors.<br>• Experience in cost accounting and financial reporting within private-equity-backed or turnaround environments is preferred.<br>• Proven ability to manage cash flow, cost accounting, and lender compliance reporting.<br>• Familiarity with standard costing systems and manufacturing processes.<br>• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to support financial decision-making.<br>• Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in developing and managing teams effectively.
