We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Poughkeepsie, New York, on a long-term contract basis. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual capable of bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring projects align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will excel in analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and delivering innovative solutions to drive efficiency and success.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather and validate business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.<br>• Collaborate with stakeholders to scope projects and programs that meet business needs effectively.<br>• Develop and communicate solutions, including technical and procedural changes, to maximize organizational value.<br>• Act as a liaison between stakeholders and project teams to facilitate clear communication and understanding.<br>• Build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, including business leaders, users, and technical teams, to gather feedback and improve processes.<br>• Simplify technical and architectural concepts for stakeholders to support informed decision-making.<br>• Contribute to the development of user acceptance tests and coordinate between testing teams and stakeholders.<br>• Represent stakeholder interests throughout project lifecycles and ensure their needs are met.<br>• Analyze and model processes, data, and business rules to support project objectives.<br>• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including participation in relevant training programs.

• Demonstrated expertise in analyzing and solving complex business challenges.<br>• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.<br>• Proficiency in gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements.<br>• Knowledge of business analysis methodologies and industry best practices.<br>• Experience in designing, evaluating, and recommending solutions.<br>• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.<br>• Advanced understanding of technology, quality tools, and process design.<br>• Proven ability to collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to achieve project goals.
