FP& A Manager/Supervisor
<p>We are looking for an experienced FP& A Manager/Supervisor to join our team on a long-term contract basis. Located in Oak Brook, Illinois, this role offers an excellent opportunity to work within the manufacturing industry, collaborating with global leaders and senior management. The position is ideal for someone who excels at financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Lead the financial close, reporting, forecasting, and annual strategic planning processes to ensure accuracy and alignment with company objectives.</p><p>• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to provide financial insights and analytical perspectives that shape the company's strategy.</p><p>• Serve as a key advisor to global leaders, building financial models and addressing complex business challenges with data-driven solutions.</p><p>• Assist in the preparation of consolidated budgets and forecasts, including those specific to individual countries.</p><p>• Drive continuous improvement in reporting capabilities, enhancing forecasts, annual plans, and cross-functional reporting systems.</p><p>• Develop financial models and analyses to support capital allocation decisions, including mergers and acquisitions.</p><p>• Provide business partnership support to operations leadership, focusing on financial analysis, cost reduction opportunities, and trend monitoring.</p><p>• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.</p><p>• Utilize advanced reporting systems to streamline processes and deliver actionable insights.</p>
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; advanced certifications are a plus.<br>• Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting or finance roles within manufacturing companies.<br>• Background in investment banking or associate analyst roles is highly desirable.<br>• Proficient in technical accounting principles, with a solid understanding of manufacturing and cost accounting.<br>• Strong financial acumen, including the ability to analyze financial statements, construct operating P& Ls, and perform cost/benefit analyses.<br>• Skilled at summarizing complex data in a clear and concise manner.<br>• Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining effective internal controls.<br>• Familiarity with advanced reporting systems such as Plenful, Onestream, or Anaplan, with expertise in major ERP systems preferred.
