Software Developer
<p>We are looking for a Mid-level Software Developer to join a 4-month contract opportunity based in Norman, Oklahoma.</p><p><br></p><p>This candidate will close application defects across four repositories and owns the code-security work, alongside our lead </p><p>developer.</p><p><br></p><p>What they will actually do</p><p>▪ Work a written backlog of application defects — correctness, reliability, error handling, data-handling </p><p>— each with a file and line reference</p><p>▪ Own the code-security fixes outright: content-security policy, output escaping, database row-levelsecurity policies, IAM permissions, secret handling, upload validation, tenant and workspace isolation</p><p>▪ Work across four separate codebases rather than one, so context-switching is the job rather than an </p><p>interruption</p><p>▪ Submit work for review by our lead developer; our security and compliance lead reviews security </p><p>fixes for control adequacy and evidence, not for code quality</p>
<p>Required</p><p>▪ 3–6 years professional software engineering</p><p>▪ Strong TypeScript and Node; React / Next.js</p><p>▪ Python for the data-pipeline repositories</p><p>▪ Postgres, including reading and writing row-level-security policies</p><p>▪ Comfortable being dropped into unfamiliar code with messy history and getting oriented in days, not weeks</p><p>▪ Uses AI coding tooling as part of their normal workflow</p><p><br></p><p>Useful but not required</p><p>▪ AWS familiarity (S3, DynamoDB, Lambda)</p><p>▪ Prior remediation or technical-debt work as opposed to feature delivery</p><p>▪ Exposure to data-heavy analytics or reporting products</p>
