Procurement Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing procurement activities, ensuring efficient purchasing processes, and negotiating contracts to meet organizational needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in corporate procurement and an eye for optimizing operations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee procurement activities, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.<br>• Manage purchase orders from initiation to completion, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.<br>• Implement effective buying processes to streamline operations and improve cost efficiency.<br>• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to establish favorable terms and maintain strong working relationships.<br>• Conduct contract negotiations to secure optimal agreements for the company.<br>• Monitor procurement trends and market conditions to support strategic decision-making.<br>• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and budgets.<br>• Resolve issues related to procurement processes, such as delays or discrepancies.<br>• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and generate reports for management review.
• Proven experience in corporate procurement or a related role.<br>• Strong knowledge of purchase order management and buying processes.<br>• Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiations and supplier relationship management.<br>• Familiarity with procurement functions and best practices.<br>• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.<br>• Proficiency in analyzing market trends and making data-driven decisions.<br>• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with vendors and internal teams.<br>• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
