<p>Growing international client located in the Delaware area is looking to hire a Manager of Accounting with proven experience working with SAP S/4HANA. The Manager of Accounting oversees core accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and the activities of the General Ledger and Accounts Payable teams. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and delivering timely financial information to support business decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, experience with ERP systems, and the leadership skills necessary to improve processes and develop a high-performing accounting team.</p><p><br></p><p>What you get to work on daily</p><ul><li>Establish, evaluate, and strengthen accounting procedures and control activities to maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.</li><li>Oversee financial reporting within SAP, including the review of general ledger accounts, cost center activity, and profit center results.</li><li>Monitor daily cash positions, coordinate cash-related activities, and prepare forecasts to support liquidity planning.</li><li>Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation and enhancement projects, contributing to system testing, troubleshooting, user acceptance testing (UAT), and post-implementation support.</li><li>Partner with manufacturing finance personnel to validate inventory reporting, assess reserve requirements, and maintain accurate inventory valuations.</li><li>Work alongside external tax professionals to coordinate documentation, provide financial data, and support corporate tax reporting and compliance.</li><li>Coordinate audit activities by responding to auditor inquiries, compiling supporting documentation, and facilitating reviews of financial systems and internal controls.</li><li>Collaborate with corporate accounting to investigate ledger variances, reconcile intercompany balances, and correct inconsistencies in financial reporting.</li></ul>
