Network Administrator
We are looking for a skilled Network Administrator to join our team in Manchester, New Hampshire. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency, security, and functionality of the organization's technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network administration and a proactive approach to problem-solving.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee the maintenance and operation of the organization's local and wide area network hardware and software, ensuring seamless functionality of systems, servers, and peripheral devices.<br>• Implement and manage backup procedures to safeguard the integrity and security of the technology infrastructure.<br>• Investigate and resolve network and IT-related issues, providing effective troubleshooting and testing solutions.<br>• Respond promptly to end-user technical issues involving software applications, hardware integration, or individual system malfunctions.<br>• Install, configure, and validate new servers, including those supporting systems, printers, and other networked devices.<br>• Maintain detailed and accurate records of equipment, software, warranties, and related documentation.<br>• Deploy and test software for both network-wide and individual use, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.<br>• Perform maintenance and repair tasks for devices such as copiers, printers, PCs, and laptops as needed.<br>• Stay updated on emerging hardware and software technologies, recommending innovative solutions to improve network efficiency and security.
• At least 5 years of experience in network administration or a related field.<br>• Proficient in managing and supporting technology infrastructure, including switches, routers, and network servers.<br>• Strong understanding of local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).<br>• Hands-on experience with installing and configuring network hardware and software.<br>• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IT and network issues.<br>• Familiarity with current operating systems and programming languages.<br>• Excellent documentation and organizational skills for maintaining system records.<br>• Ability to stay informed about advancements in network technologies and implement improvements accordingly.
