We are looking for a dedicated Material Planner Clerk to join our team in Fort Valley, Georgia. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting supply chain operations and ensuring the smooth flow of materials within a manufacturing environment. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to contribute to critical administrative and planning tasks.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Enter purchase requisition data accurately into the system to support procurement processes.<br>• Track and monitor scheduled deliveries, maintaining communication with suppliers to confirm shipment plans and modes of transportation.<br>• Collaborate with Team Leads to address potential supply chain issues, proposing alternative solutions to prevent disruptions and shortages.<br>• Provide backup assistance to team members, ensuring continuity of operations during periods of high demand or absence.<br>• Take on special assignments or projects as directed by the Planning Team Leader or Planning Director to meet organizational goals.
