<p>The Network Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting the organization’s network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role involves monitoring network systems, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with IT teams to support business operations and technology initiatives.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Network Administration:</strong> Configure, maintain, and optimize LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.</li><li><strong>Monitoring & Troubleshooting:</strong> Proactively monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve connectivity issues.</li><li><strong>Security Management:</strong> Implement and maintain network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.</li><li><strong>Documentation:</strong> Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and processes.</li><li><strong>Vendor Coordination:</strong> Work with external vendors for hardware/software procurement and support.</li><li><strong>Upgrades & Patching:</strong> Plan and execute network upgrades, patches, and firmware updates.</li><li><strong>Disaster Recovery:</strong> Assist in developing and testing network-related disaster recovery plans.</li><li><strong>Support:</strong> Provide technical support for network-related issues to internal teams.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
<ul><li>Administer the company’s fiber, wired, and wireless networks; virtual and physical data centers; SAN environments; cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Nutanix, Google Cloud); and all backup/recovery systems.</li><li>Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot network and cloud architecture while ensuring compliance with security standards and organizational policies.</li><li>Monitor network performance, identify issues, troubleshoot outages, and implement corrective actions to maximize efficiency.</li><li>Install, configure, and maintain backup systems, virtualization platforms, and both physical and virtual servers — including operating system patching.</li><li>Monitor hybrid cloud environments for performance and integration; recommend and implement enhancements.</li><li>Maintain database security, user access, workflows, and respond to performance faults or security events.</li><li>Configure, maintain, and back up clustered data center systems while planning for storage growth and future system integrations.</li><li>Install and configure network hardware (routers, switches, hubs, gateways) and ensure compliance with security and firmware update requirements.</li><li>Establish IP addressing and appropriate security configurations for switches and firewalls supporting confidential or sensitive data.</li><li>Coordinate with Network Security and Network Operations teams to ensure secure and efficient implementation of fiber equipment, core switches, and VoIP networking.</li><li>Administer all fiber switches supporting servers and storage, including zoning configurations and performance monitoring.</li><li>Conduct storage capacity planning for production and test environments.</li><li>Review and optimize production databases, stored procedures, and data center performance.</li><li>Serve as SQL/DB2 system administrator, monitoring memory, performance, replication, backup integrity, and system usability.</li><li>Evaluate system functions to determine needs for hardware or configuration changes.</li><li>Monitor equipment inventory, recommend purchases, and ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines.</li><li>Prepare technical bid specifications for software, hardware, and maintenance contracts; evaluate and recommend vendor proposals.</li><li>Coordinate with vendors and contractors on fiber, wired, and wireless installations, relocations, and repairs; verify compliance with networking standards.</li><li>Conduct research on emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to network and data center operations.</li><li>Develop and maintain network addressing schemes and complete documentation including diagrams, standards, and procedures.</li><li>Operate a company vehicle as needed for job-related tasks.</li></ul><p><br></p>
