We are looking for a Patient Registration Representative to join our dynamic Emergency Department team in Litchfield, Arizona. In this Patient Registration Representative position, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth registration and check-in process for patients, while providing exceptional customer service. The Patient Registration Representative role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a background in healthcare or patient registration. Responsibilities:• Facilitate patient registration and check-in processes for individuals arriving at the Emergency Department.• Verify insurance coverage and accurately collect required patient information.• Deliver excellent customer service, addressing patient and family concerns effectively.• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficiency during high-volume periods.• Ensure the accuracy of data entry and maintain comprehensive documentation.• Process copayments and deductibles when applicable.• Provide support to the emergency department team to enhance patient care.• Utilize electronic health record systems to manage patient information and registration.• Adapt to the dynamic nature of the emergency department and contribute to team goals.

• At least one year of experience in healthcare insurance verification. • A minimum of one year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment. • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is highly desirable. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues. • Attention to detail and proficiency in accurate data entry. • Experience with emergency department registration is a plus. • Flexibility to work weekend and weekday shifts, including occasional overtime.
