We are looking for an experienced Elasticsearch Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing and optimizing Elastic Cloud environments while collaborating closely with engineering teams. This position is based in Lehi, Utah, and offers a great opportunity to apply your expertise in cloud-based technologies and observability solutions.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Design, deploy, and maintain Elastic Cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and scalability.<br>• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement and support Elastic observability solutions.<br>• Monitor and troubleshoot Elastic systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.<br>• Optimize data pipelines and search functionalities within the Elastic stack.<br>• Develop and maintain documentation related to Elastic configurations and processes.<br>• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on Elastic best practices.<br>• Integrate Elastic Cloud with other monitoring tools such as Datadog to enhance observability.<br>• Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.<br>• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices within cloud environments.<br>• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Elastic technologies and related tools.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Elasticsearch engineering or related roles.<br>• Extensive knowledge of Elastic Cloud services and observability tools.<br>• Proficiency in AWS technologies and their integration with Elastic environments.<br>• Hands-on experience with Datadog for monitoring and observability.<br>• Strong understanding of SaaS and PaaS platforms.<br>• Ability to optimize Elastic systems for performance and scalability.<br>• Excellent troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving complex technical issues.<br>• Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
