Technical Writer
<p>We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to create, maintain, and improve technical documentation for internal teams and external users. The ideal candidate can translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content, working closely with subject matter experts, engineers, developers, and business stakeholders.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation including user guides, process documentation, knowledge base articles, SOPs, FAQs, release notes, and training materials.</li><li>Gather information from technical teams and subject matter experts through interviews, meetings, and research.</li><li>Translate complex technical information into clear, understandable content for both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Create and maintain documentation standards, templates, and style guides.</li><li>Review and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, IT, Operations, and Training departments.</li><li>Manage documentation repositories and version control processes.</li><li>Support system implementations, software releases, and process improvement initiatives with updated documentation.</li><li>Ensure all documentation follows company branding, formatting, and regulatory requirements.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p>Required Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Journalism, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.</li><li>3+ years of technical writing experience.</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Experience creating user guides, process documentation, SOPs, and training materials.</li><li>Strong editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and document management systems.</li><li>Ability to quickly learn new technologies and business processes.</li><li>Experience collaborating with technical teams and SMEs.</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><ul><li>Experience documenting software applications, IT systems, APIs, or technical processes.</li><li>Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, Jira, MadCap Flare, Adobe Acrobat, Visio, or Snagit.</li><li>Experience working in Agile or project-based environments.</li><li>Knowledge of version control systems and documentation lifecycle management.</li><li>Experience supporting regulated industries such as healthcare, government, manufacturing, or technology.</li></ul><p><br></p>
