<p>We are seeking a <strong>Senior Data Engineer</strong> to design, build, and optimize modern data solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision making. This role will focus heavily on <strong>Microsoft Fabric</strong>, <strong>Power BI</strong>, and <strong>SQL</strong>, working closely with stakeholders across analytics, engineering, and business teams.</p><p>You’ll play a key role in shaping data architecture, improving performance, and ensuring data reliability at scale.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using <strong>Microsoft Fabric</strong></li><li>Develop and optimize <strong>SQL</strong> queries, views, and stored procedures for analytics and reporting</li><li>Model data using <strong>Lakehouse, Warehouse, and semantic models</strong> within Fabric</li><li>Support and enhance <strong>Power BI</strong> datasets, reports, dashboards, and data refresh strategies</li><li>Implement data transformation and ingestion processes (ETL / ELT)</li><li>Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and security best practices</li><li>Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions</li><li>Optimize performance across Fabric workloads, SQL engines, and Power BI models</li><li>Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and reporting issues</li><li>Mentor junior data engineers and contribute to data standards and best practices</li></ul><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with <strong>SQL</strong> (performance tuning, indexing, query optimization)</li><li>Experience working with <strong>Power BI</strong> datasets, semantic models, and DAX fundamentals</li><li>Practical experience with <strong>Microsoft Fabric</strong> (Lakehouse, Data Factory, Warehouses, Pipelines)</li><li>Experience designing data models for reporting and analytics use cases</li><li>Understanding of data governance, security, and access controls</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with <strong>Azure data services</strong> (Synapse, Data Factory, Azure SQL, ADLS)</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>DAX optimization</strong> and Power BI performance tuning</li><li>Experience with data versioning, CI/CD, or DevOps for analytics solutions</li><li>Familiarity with Python, Spark, or notebooks within Fabric</li><li>Experience supporting enterprise or large-scale BI environments</li></ul><p><br></p>
