This role requires a combination of high-level strategic planning and hands-on management of day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding the organization’s financial health while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.</p><p><br></p><p>We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Controller to oversee the company’s financial operations and drive the overall financial health of the organization. This individual will serve as a key member of the leadership team, providing financial insight, operational support, and guidance on business decisions. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable with high-level strategic planning and rolling up their sleeves to handle day-to-day accounting functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee all aspects of the company’s accounting and finance functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cost accounting</li><li>Manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial statements and internal reporting</li><li>Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to support operational and strategic decision-making</li><li>Analyze financial results and key metrics; provide recommendations to improve profitability, control costs, and support business growth</li><li>Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure GAAP compliance</li><li>Partner with operations and production teams to monitor inventory, cost of goods sold, and overall plant financial performance</li><li>Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and cash management activities</li><li>Lead preparation for audits, tax filings, and compliance reporting in collaboration with external auditors and tax advisors</li><li>Oversee and mentor accounting staff to build a high-performing and collaborative finance team</li><li>Support the leadership team with financial modeling, capital planning, and other strategic initiatives</li></ul><p><br></p>
