We are looking for a skilled Controller to join a dynamic law firm in Irvine, California. This role is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and an accounting background who thrives in a hands-on environment. You will oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial documentation.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.<br>• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.<br>• Oversee document control processes, including scanning, compiling, and organizing financial documents.<br>• Prepare detailed financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.<br>• Conduct regular audits to ensure financial data integrity and compliance.<br>• Collaborate with legal and administrative teams to support operational goals.<br>• Analyze financial data to provide strategic recommendations for business growth.<br>• Manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow to ensure financial stability.<br>• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.<br>• Proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial leadership role.<br>• Strong proficiency in document control, including scanning and compiling financial records.<br>• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.<br>• Proficiency with financial software and tools for reporting and analysis.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.<br>• Effective communication and leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate across departments.
