Receptionist
<p>We are looking for a Receptionist to join our team in Indio, California on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys interacting with people while managing administrative tasks. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring smooth front desk operations.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Warmly greet visitors and provide assistance or direct them to the appropriate department or individual.</p><p>• Answer and manage multi-line phone systems, addressing inquiries and forwarding messages as needed.</p><p>• Schedule and manage bookings for fitness classes and personal training sessions.</p><p>• Register new members, update membership profiles, and handle associated administrative duties.</p><p>• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk area to enhance the visitor experience.</p><p>• Process payments and manage the cash register accurately.</p><p>• Address member concerns with patience and professionalism while ensuring resolutions.</p><p>• Utilize scheduling software and Office tools to perform administrative tasks efficiently.</p><p>• Assist with additional duties as assigned to support front desk and overall operations.</p><p><br></p><p>Hours are Wed thru Sun 12:30-9:00 Pm </p>
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a receptionist or customer service role; experience in a fitness setting is preferred.<br>• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with members and staff.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling software, and email correspondence.<br>• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.<br>• Ability to work flexible hours, including varying days off during the week.<br>• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.<br>• Adept at multitasking and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Friendly demeanor and strong interpersonal skills to create positive interactions.
