We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team on a contract basis in Hudson, New York. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both strategic and hands-on environments, overseeing financial reporting and guiding team development. The position will require occasional onsite presence during close weeks, with hybrid flexibility at other times. Responsibilities: • Lead high-level financial reporting and preparation of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Provide oversight for treasury functions and manage cash flow strategies. • Collaborate closely with two Accounting Managers to support financial analytics and reporting. • Offer training and mentorship to team members, including stepping in to assist with transactional tasks during lighter periods. • Supervise and guide the Accounting Manager, including oversight of payroll operations as needed. • Ensure smooth month-end close processes and maintain comprehensive financial controls. • Utilize Workday software for financial management tasks and reporting. • Maintain flexibility to adapt to both strategic planning and operational needs within the department. • Uphold compliance with healthcare industry regulations and standards. • Assist with healthcare-related financial processes, leveraging revenue cycle knowledge where applicable.

• Proven experience in financial reporting and financial statement preparation. • Strong background in treasury operations and cash flow management. • Familiarity with Workday software is highly preferred. • Previous experience in the healthcare industry is strongly desired. • Ability to manage and mentor teams effectively, fostering growth and attention to detail. • Willingness to balance strategic and transactional responsibilities as needed. • Excellent analytical and organizational skills. • Availability to work onsite during close weeks and adapt to hybrid schedules outside of these periods.
