<p><strong>IT Architect and Business Experience / Knowledge</strong></p><ul><li>Prior experience translating undocumented systems / applications / operating procedures into usable documentation is absolutely necessary; Ability to update or create visualizations of dependency maps or architecture overviews is a must</li><li>Prior experience with integration of IT systems in a post-merger/acquisition environment</li><li>Prior experience with application rationalization / dependency mapping exercises</li><li>Prior experience designing, implementing, or administrating backup and replication/continuity solutions for server, storage, and application infrastructure</li><li>Familiarity with typical project management methods (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)</li><li>Prior experience translating business requirements (e.g. compliance controls, vendor / business partner requirements) into technical configurations / solutions</li><li>Familiarity with typical compliance standards (ISO 27001, SOX) preferred</li><li>Prior experience dealing with third party hardware/software/service vendors preferred</li><li>Prior experience translating business continuity / disaster recovery requirements into technical solution designs preferred</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Other Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent verbal and written English </li><li>Comfortable collaborating with key business executives, system/application owners or stakeholders in group conversation or direct interview contexts</li><li>Ability to rapidly shift between planning / design work and practical execution (“hands on keyboard” tasks for discovery or implementation) is an absolute necessity</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required</li><li>Personal projects / demonstrated extracurricular interest in technology a plus</li></ul><p><br></p>
