We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our team in Houston, Texas, on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of software solutions tailored for trading and energy markets. This position offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic and collaborative environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop, test, and deploy software applications using .NET, C#, and JavaScript technologies.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate bid-to-bill systems and other power vendor solutions.<br>• Implement DevOps practices to streamline software delivery and improve operational efficiency.<br>• Utilize cloud platforms such as Azure for application development and deployment.<br>• Work with databases like Oracle and MongoDB to ensure data integrity and performance.<br>• Build and maintain frontend and backend frameworks, including AngularJS and other modern tools.<br>• Monitor and support software applications, resolving technical issues promptly.<br>• Apply Agile methodologies to manage workflows and deliver high-quality solutions.<br>• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members while fostering a culture of continuous learning.<br>• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular updates.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in trading or energy sectors.<br>• Expertise in DevOps methodologies and Agile workflows.<br>• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as .NET, C#, and ASP.NET.<br>• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure and database technologies, including Oracle and MongoDB.<br>• Strong understanding of frontend and backend frameworks, including AngularJS.<br>• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.<br>• Familiarity with commodity trading or energy markets is highly desirable.<br>• Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments.
