<p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p><p> We are seeking an experienced <strong>Network Engineer</strong> to join our client's team in Houston on a hybrid schedule. The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including Meraki, and a proven track record of designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network environments.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN environments, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.</li><li>Manage and optimize Cisco and Meraki infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.</li><li>Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation for network incidents.</li><li>Support network upgrades, migrations, and security initiatives.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and secure connectivity solutions.</li><li>Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>8+ years of experience as a Network Engineer.</li><li>Strong expertise with Cisco networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).</li><li>Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki solutions.</li><li>Proficiency in routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and network security best practices.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work in complex environments.</li><li>Strong communication and documentation skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Cisco certification (CCNA or CCNP) strongly preferred.</li><li>Experience in hybrid enterprise environments (cloud + on-prem).</li><li>Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.</li></ul>
