HR / Compliance & Employee Relations
We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Compliance and Employee Relations Specialist to lead efforts in fostering a fair and inclusive workplace while ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations. This role is pivotal in managing compliance initiatives across multiple states and addressing employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with managers and HR teams to develop policies, conduct investigations, and deliver impactful training programs.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, including labor law postings, wage/hour requirements, and leave policies across multiple states.<br>• Develop, update, and implement HR policies, employee handbooks, and compliance training programs to align with regulatory standards.<br>• Conduct impartial investigations into employee relations cases, providing recommendations and resolutions to workplace issues.<br>• Partner with managers to address workforce matters such as conflict resolution, performance management, and employee terminations.<br>• Deliver training initiatives, including anti-harassment workshops, workplace conduct education, and awareness programs.<br>• Track and analyze employee relations trends and compliance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.<br>• Support audits such as worker’s compensation filings, fidelity reviews, and stock plan evaluations.<br>• Collaborate with HR team members to cross-train in various functions, promoting efficiency and consistency within the department.<br>• Provide guidance on sensitive employee-related matters, demonstrating exceptional discretion and professionalism.<br>• Assist in onboarding processes and ensure seamless integration of new hires into the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.<br>• 3–5 years of HR experience with a focus on compliance and employee relations across a multi-state environment.<br>• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.<br>• Preferred certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR, with advanced certifications like SHRM-SCP or SPHR being a plus.<br>• Proficiency in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and effective communication.<br>• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.<br>• Experience with HRIS systems, such as Paylocity, is preferred.<br>• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and collaboration.
