This role involves both traditional DBA responsibilities and active participation in cross-functional projects. The ideal candidate is self-driven, has a solid foundation in database administration, and enjoys solving complex challenges with innovative solutions.</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Data Application Layer Ownership:</li><li>Understand how applications interact with databases. Lead data modeling efforts and collaborate with architecture and development teams on both logical and physical database design.</li><li>Database Performance Management:</li><li>Develop performance benchmarks, conduct performance testing, and optimize SQL queries and database configurations.</li><li>Data Management Across Environments:</li><li>Manage and synchronize data across development, testing, and production environments, including migrations between different database platforms.</li><li>Database Design Standards:</li><li>Enforce consistent design conventions and create optimal data models tailored to specific requirements, including normalization and denormalization strategies.</li><li>Application Design Collaboration:</li><li>Work closely with developers to address issues related to application design, data modeling, access, and reporting.</li><li>Development Process Integration:</li><li>Utilize version control for databases, automate deployment processes, and implement standards and procedures for database changes and upgrades.</li><li>Troubleshooting and Debugging:</li><li>Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, and tune systems for improved performance.</li><li>Continuous Learning:</li><li>Embrace opportunities to work with various relational and NoSQL databases. A passion for learning and exploring new technologies is highly valued.</li><li>Leadership and Mentorship:</li><li>Lead by example, mentor junior DBAs, and drive efforts to meet project deadlines effectively.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<ul><li>.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems</li><li>5–10 years of professional experience</li><li>Strong SQL expertise</li><li>Hands-on experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL</li><li>Familiarity with both Windows and Linux environments</li><li>Quick learner in dynamic settings</li><li>Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Groovy</li></ul><p><strong>Huge Plus** : Virtualized DB experience, OR Postgres, MongoDB experience, OR java experience </strong></p>
