<p>We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee and manage all aspects of financial operations for our organization in NW Houston. This role requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual with a solid background in cost accounting, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will bring leadership capabilities to enhance processes and ensure the company’s financial health.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.</p><p>• Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in alignment with organizational standards.</p><p>• Manage and streamline month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure accuracy and timeliness.</p><p>• Maintain and update the chart of accounts, accounting policies, and internal control systems.</p><p>• Oversee cost accounting activities such as bill of materials, labor costing, and overhead allocation to improve financial accuracy.</p><p>• Analyze production variances, monitor inventory levels, and assess margins to identify opportunities for improvement.</p><p>• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure precise job costing, inventory valuation, and production reporting.</p><p>• Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts to guide strategic decision-making.</p><p>• Conduct financial analyses and provide actionable insights to support organizational goals.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while managing external relationships, including auditors and tax professionals.</p><p><br></p><p>For immediate consideration, contact Mark, mark.loiacano@roberthalf</p>
