We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Covington, Louisiana. In this role, you will oversee key accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records in a fast-paced environment. This is a contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise within the oil and gas industry.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.<br>• Oversee general ledger activities and maintain accurate financial records.<br>• Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with audit requirements.<br>• Perform detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.<br>• Create and review journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.<br>• Handle joint venture accounting, including reporting and financial management.<br>• Utilize Enertia software to streamline accounting tasks and maintain efficiency.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes.<br>• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

• Proven experience in accounting management, preferably within the oil and gas industry.<br>• Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management.<br>• Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and related regulations.<br>• Expertise in account reconciliation and journal entry preparation.<br>• Familiarity with joint venture accounting and reporting.<br>• Preferred experience using Enertia software for accounting functions.<br>• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.<br>• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
