This essential role is responsible for processing payroll for 400+ employees and ensuring all payroll procedures remain compliant with state and federal regulations, including certified payroll requirements. </p><p><br></p><p> <strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong>Accurately process biweekly payroll for 400+ employees, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with applicable laws and internal policies. Manage certified payroll requirements, including wage compliance, reporting, and submission for government contracts. Review and verify timesheets, deductions, PTO, and benefit elections. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, garnishments, and withholding. Collaborate with HR and Accounting teams to reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies. Maintain payroll records according to regulatory and confidentiality standards. Assist with audits and prepare payroll reports as requested. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong>: 3+ years of end-to-end payroll processing experience for medium to large organizations (500+ employees). Demonstrated hands-on experience with certified payroll (Prevailing Wage, Davis-Bacon, or related reporting). Solid knowledge of payroll law, wage & hour regulations, and best practices. Experience with payroll systems (such as ADP, Paychex, or similar). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills.
