We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Columbus, Ohio. This role focuses on optimizing database performance, implementing efficient data solutions, and ensuring the reliability of data-driven processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL Server and Azure SQL technologies, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Analyze and enhance stored procedures to improve database performance and efficiency.<br>• Develop and implement indexing strategies to optimize query execution.<br>• Collaborate with teams to refine reporting views and synchronize processes effectively.<br>• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and scalability.<br>• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in SQL Server environments.<br>• Design and maintain reliable database solutions that meet organizational needs.<br>• Provide technical guidance and collaborate on troubleshooting efforts.<br>• Document processes and solutions to ensure clarity and future usability.<br>• Stay updated with advancements in SQL and Azure technologies to apply best practices.

• Extensive experience in SQL Server performance tuning and diagnostics.<br>• Strong expertise in stored procedure optimization and indexing strategies.<br>• Familiarity with Azure SQL and Microsoft SQL environments.<br>• Proven ability to work independently and within collaborative teams.<br>• Excellent communication skills for documentation and team interaction.<br>• Solid understanding of scalable data solutions and architecture.<br>• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, dynamic work environments.
