We are looking for an experienced Jira Atlassian Reporting Architect to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing advanced reporting solutions within Jira to drive project visibility and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights for large-scale technology initiatives.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop customized reporting solutions within Jira to provide detailed insights into project progress, risks, and performance metrics.<br>• Create scalable dashboards and visualizations using Atlassian Marketplace tools, such as eazyBI and Structure, to monitor project KPIs and resource utilization.<br>• Design and maintain reports that track sprint velocity, identify bottlenecks, and analyze variances to enhance project outcomes.<br>• Integrate Jira with external systems and APIs to consolidate data from multiple sources for comprehensive reporting.<br>• Leverage scripting languages, such as Groovy or Python, to automate workflows and optimize Jira’s reporting capabilities.<br>• Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.<br>• Recommend and implement best practices for Jira reporting, workflow optimization, and tool adoption to improve project management processes.<br>• Document reporting workflows and provide training to ensure effective use of Jira’s capabilities across teams.<br>• Ensure all reporting solutions comply with organizational data governance and security standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.<br>• At least 5 years of experience working with Jira and Atlassian tools, focusing on reporting for complex technology projects.<br>• Proven expertise in creating reporting solutions using tools like eazyBI, Power BI, or Tableau.<br>• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy or Python to automate reporting workflows.<br>• Familiarity with database management and data warehousing for project-related analytics.<br>• Strong knowledge of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence, with an emphasis on project management.<br>• Experience integrating Jira with external systems and APIs for data aggregation.<br>• Prior experience in technology consulting or project management environments is highly desirable.
