Keep Freight Moving Through the Night A leading transportation and logistics company in the Chattanooga area is seeking Third Shift Tracking Representatives to join its overnight operations team. In this role, you'll monitor shipments throughout the night, communicate with drivers, update tracking information, and identify and escalate issues that could impact on-time delivery. What You'll Do<ul><li>Track and trace shipments to ensure freight is progressing on schedule</li><li>Communicate directly with drivers and carriers by phone to obtain current locations and shipment updates</li><li>Perform check calls throughout the shipment lifecycle</li><li>Accurately enter driver and shipment updates into the tracking system</li><li>Identify and escalate late or at-risk shipments</li><li>Communicate important shipment updates to internal teams</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in internal systems</li><li>Work through assigned lists of shipments and follow loads through delivery</li><li>Respond to customer or carrier questions regarding shipment status as needed</li></ul>What We're Looking ForThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured, task-focused work and can stay productive with minimal supervision. You don't need to be highly outgoing, but you should be comfortable communicating professionally with drivers over the phone. Candidates with backgrounds in call centers, customer service, data entry, administrative support, dispatch, transportation, or logistics may be especially well suited for this opportunity.
