Staff Accountant
We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to key accounting processes and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and a detail-oriented approach.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and record journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.<br>• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.<br>• Assist with month-end close procedures, including the preparation of financial statements.<br>• Utilize NetSuite to streamline accounting processes and maintain data integrity.<br>• Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support decision-making.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.<br>• Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.<br>• Use Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and present financial information effectively.<br>• Support audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Proven experience in managing journal entries and general ledger processes.<br>• Proficiency with NetSuite and its accounting functionalities.<br>• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis tools.<br>• Strong understanding of month-end close procedures and financial reporting.<br>• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Ability to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.<br>• Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
