Litigation Attorney <br>Job Type: Full-time<br>Position Summary:<br>We are a rapidly growing law firm seeking a highly motivated and Illinois Bar licensed associate personal injury lawyer to handle a large and growing docket of cases. We are looking for candidates that are experienced (3+ years) personal injury and/or nursing home lawyers. Familiarity with discovery and litigation and excellent research and writing skills required.<br>This position will primarily entail handling all aspects of pre-litigation and litigation personal injury cases along with managing a staff member(s) working with the lawyer on the cases.<br>The lawyer will be supported by skilled legal assistant(s) who will help lead client communications, prepare documents, and all demands related to your cases. Overall organization and attention to detail are necessary to this position along with the willingness and ability to regularly interact with clients, adjusters, and other lawyers/paralegals over the phone and in person. Excellent communication (verbal and written), computer, analytical, and initiative are all essential skills.<br>You will be a part of a fast-paced team environment and will have all the needed support to allow you to grow as a lawyer and to focus on the proper workup of your cases in preparation for settlement or litigation.<br>Other facets of the position are to support the firm mission and values and align, motivate and inspire other team members to deliver exceptional high-quality results by their consistent example and influence. However, other office locations served and are an option for this opening include: Champaign, Decatur, Macomb, Quincy, and Rushville Illinois.
