<p>We are looking for a skilled Attorney with a background in defense civil litigation to join a law firm in Birmingham, Alabama. The ideal candidate will have experience handling defense cases, including medical malpractice, product liability, and insurance defense. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed attorney with strong litigation skills to contribute to a dynamic legal practice.</p><p><br></p><p>• Conduct thorough legal research to support defense strategies in medical malpractice, product liability, and insurance cases.</p><p>• Prepare and draft legal motions, pleadings, and briefs with precision and attention to detail.</p><p>• Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review, interrogatories, and depositions.</p><p>• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, and court proceedings as needed.</p><p>• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective case strategies.</p><p>• Prepare for and participate in trial proceedings, ensuring comprehensive case preparation.</p><p>• Analyze and interpret complex legal documents and case law to provide sound legal advice.</p><p>• Maintain compliance with all applicable legal standards and ethical requirements.</p>

<p>• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.</p><p>• Active license to practice law in the state of Alabama.</p><p>• 2-5 years of experience in civil litigation, including in defense cases.</p><p>• Proficiency in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents.</p><p>• Extensive experience with discovery processes and deposition procedures.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of medical malpractice, product liability, and insurance defense laws.</p><p>• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.</p><p>• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.</p>
