<p><strong>Robert Half </strong>is actively partnering with an Austin-based client to identify a<strong> Senior Network Administrator (contract)</strong>. In this role, you will design, implement, and support secure, scalable network solutions across data centers, branch offices, and cloud environments. <strong>This role is on-site in Austin, Tx. </strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design and manage LAN/WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN, and wireless networks</li><li>Troubleshoot complex network issues and optimize performance</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on deployments and upgrades</li><li>Ensure compliance with network security standards and SLAs</li><li>Support hybrid cloud architecture and network integrations</li><li>Demonstrates a strong understanding of the current and future network technology architecture and support long- term strategies of the business.</li><li>Provides guidance and training to the IT community to maximize learning and knowledge sharing.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>6+ years of experience with Cisco switches, routers, and wireless</li><li>Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, ELK)</li><li>Extensive understanding of protocols (VLANs, OSPF, BGP, DNS, 802.1x)</li><li>CCNA/CCNP preferred, experience with Meraki or Cisco SDA a plus</li><li>Excellent communication and project management skills</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience</li><li>CCNA/CCNP a plus</li><li>Experience with Cisco SDA or Meraki a plus</li><li>Knowledge and experience in well-known protocols and standards (i.e. VLANs, Spanning-Tree, OSPF, BGP, DNS, 802.1x)</li><li>Experience with AWS networking (VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect).</li><li>Network automation experience using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.</li></ul><p><strong>Contract Benefit Offerings:</strong></p><ul><li>Healthcare (medical, dental, and vision plans)</li><li>401(k) and retirement plans</li><li>Commuter benefits</li><li>Employee and vendor discounts</li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li><li>And many more!</li></ul><p><br></p>
