We are looking for a skilled Data Reporting Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Aurora, Colorado. In this role, you will focus on extracting, transforming, and analyzing data to support business operations and ensure seamless integration into Microsoft Fabric environments. This position emphasizes data analysis and reporting, requiring expertise in SQL and a strong understanding of relational databases.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data for reporting and analysis.<br>• Prepare logical groupings and datasets for downstream processes and pipelines.<br>• Collaborate with data engineers and business units to ensure data readiness for integration into Microsoft Fabric.<br>• Analyze data for accuracy, consistency, and relevance to business needs.<br>• Maintain clear documentation of query logic and create data dictionaries for transparency.<br>• Provide ad-hoc reporting and validate data to support informed decision-making.<br>• Work within Azure and Microsoft Fabric environments to support data migration and integration tasks.<br>• Communicate technical findings effectively to stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis or data engineering.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL, with the ability to write complex queries from scratch.<br>• Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.<br>• Experience with Azure or Microsoft Fabric environments.<br>• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and business teams.<br>• Familiarity with Python is a plus but not required.<br>• Ability to ensure data accuracy and relevance in reporting.<br>• Strong analytical skills to interpret and transform complex data sets.
